The music director should have a B.M. or B.A. in Music or equivalent experience; a minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a musician in a church setting; piano and organ skills for choral and congregational singing; ability to select hymns and other music appropriate to the season, Bible readings, and abilities and preferences of the congregation; choral direction experience; and a flexible approach to work.
